Cast For Mars

Cast For Mars è un’esperienza immersiva ideata da Alter Agent che ricostruisce fisicamente una colonia marziana su 1.500 mq.
I partecipanti vengono selezionati come “colonist” per un training di sopravvivenza su Marte — prove attitudinali, laboratori, control room, tempesta di sabbia simulata — mentre un secondo gruppo segue il percorso in forma di teatro immersivo.

L’anteprima mondiale si è tenuta a TreviglioFIERA nella primavera 2026; uno spin-off, Red Planet 3009, è stato selezionato a Cannes Immersive.

Insieme a Graziano De Vecchis, AM Artist ha programmato tre sale interattive in TouchDesigner con hardware custom su ESP32 e Arduino, integrando laser, proiezioni mappate, impianto luci e sensori di movimento e biometrici.
Implementato anche il sistema di sincronia globale tra le sale e il recording/reporting dei punteggi dei partecipanti.

Cast For Mars is an immersive experience conceived by Alter Agent, recreating a full-scale Martian colony across 1,500 square meters.Participants are selected as “colonists” and undergo a Mars survival training program featuring aptitude tests, hands-on workshops, a mission control room, and a simulated sandstorm.
A second group experiences the same journey as an immersive theatre production.

Its world premiere took place at TreviglioFIERA in spring 2026. A spin-off, Red Planet 3009, was subsequently selected for Cannes Immersive.

Working alongside Graziano De Vecchis, AM Artist developed three interactive rooms using TouchDesigner and custom ESP32- and Arduino-based hardware, integrating lasers, projection mapping, lighting systems, and motion and biometric sensors.

Also implemented the global synchronization system connecting all rooms, together with the participant scoring, recording, and reporting infrastructure.
