Between 2022 and 2023, the theatre Limfjordsteatret and the theatre company Kyber Teatro ran transdisciplinary workshops for children, to promote learning science through creative, performative and digital methods in Nykøbing Mors (Denmark) and Cagliari.
The Pixel & Performing Arts project, aimed at kindergarten and primary school teachers in both Cagliari and Nykøbing, included custom interactive projections and theatre events.
To bring different generations together and encourage youth leadership, students of Environmental Biotechnology from IIS De Sanctis Deledda and from the Liceo Classico Convitto in Cagliari also took part as tutors.
Another goal was to raise students’ awareness of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
The project won the 2024 European EITA award.
