The Visual Show course is aimed at musicians, DJs, VJs, multimedia artists and the like who want to enrich their creations with visual content.
We used the multimedia system TouchDesigner, which processes graphics and music through a very intuitive graphical interface, without writing code.
The principles of video mapping and generative graphics were illustrated to build a simple but striking visual system that can accompany a concert or performance, even in small indoor spaces without particular structures such as stages or projection screens.
Together with the participants we built a working example of animated graphics projection reacting to music and to the movements of an actor/dancer.
