With a simple headset with an EEG sensor it is possible to detect and display a subject’s level of attention, relaxation or agitation.
By having a person wear the headset and asking them “embarrassing” questions, “Dimmi la verità” (“Tell me the truth”) playfully simulates the behaviour of a lie detector, caricaturing the mood swings and agitation of the subject facing a series of more or less awkward questions.
The sensor and the software were made purely for fun and have neither the ability nor the intention to actually detect the truthfulness of answers or the subject’s real state of mind.
